Serena is a freelance photographer and photo editor based in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

She was a lifestyle photographer in North Carolina from 2001 - 2012. She loves working with her clients to document emotive storytelling. Serena is an all inclusivity photographer.

​

In the past she has partnered with Carolina Donor Services to capture the lives involved and to spread as much awareness and education on the importance of organ donation and the detriment of the donor waiting list. Her portraits of the lives captured have a permanent home at Duke Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. Her mother awaited a heart transplant and unfortunately, she did not receive one in time.

Serena has partnered with The University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center to document patients for their annual reports. She enjoys the one on one connections of her clients and their life story.

She has been published in multiple countries in different platforms.

 

Using her gift of photography for storytelling brings her fulfillment.
